So im kinda torn between these two beautiful cues and can't really decide on which one I am wanting to buy. I dig the classic Cocobolo/Maple look and yet that modern looking Ebony/White is sleek as can be as well. Im leaning towards the Cocobolo/Maple because to me it is wood that will will always look good no matter what time period or style is current. I come to yall to see which one yall like...

ebony hands down.

the left one can look 60s or 70s boring crappy style, most prominently when the wood gets worn by UV light.

Both cues are way too busy / too many inlays for my taste, but I'd prefer the wood stained cocobola over ebony/white any day.

I picked neither.

If I were to chose, I'd say the cocobola/maple hands down. It's a little busy fo me though. The ebony/white looks cheesy and cheap.

In that design, ebony just looks killer, like a tuxedo cue. Don't get me wrong I love the coco & maple but the ebony looks incredible.

I want something that stands out just a bit. Too many players in my area have such simple cues and it just doesn't suit my taste. Thanks for the reply!

You prefer the classic 4/6/8 point veneers or plain jain type?
Yeah, I prefer a more traditional sneaky pete type, or just plain stained with no points, inlays or veneers. I do like your choice of a wrapless cue, which both of these are. I'd suggest you need to be a strong player to whip out either of those two cues in a poolroom, unless you're not a gambler, in which case it doesn't matter.

I do appreciate a good looking SP or plain cue, especially in bocote or burl wood.
I have a leather wrap on my current cue and after playing with a friends wrapless I knew that is what I would have on my next playing cue. Gamble here and there, strong.. eh.. subjective I guess. For my area others would probably place me as a consistent B type player.
