Holy Crap,

Just got a call from Mike from Diamond Billiards.

They are on their way to me now to install the ProAM I ordered 9 weeks ago. They will be here in 3 hours.

Anyone have any good advice to give me on what I should do (other than stay the heck out of their way)?

Tks,
Tim

I ordered a 9 foot, oak, stained black.

I also ordered it without the "Diamond" logo carved in the end of the table.

I am having it covered in Tournament Green (Simonis green?) 860HR.

I like the Tournament Blue, but can't get away from the more traditional look of a green cloth.

Of course I had to get the One Pocket cage.

I installed an LED light from Lite Systems. The Fin Wide, and can't wait to see how it all comes together. I could play pool on the floor with the amount of light it puts out.

I ordered a 7-foot coin-op pro-am for our pool room 4 years ago, that was to be custom ordered and brand new, at a higher price than the tournament used tables. I was a bit angry when we recovered it a year or so later to see that the rails had been covered before, so it was likely used at an event before they sold it to me.

The Diamond crew is very good at what they do, but I can tell you they will set it up very fast and try to get in and out of there as quick as they can, and on to the next job. Before they leave, make sure you roll balls on the table to confirm it is absolutely level, and make sure you ask them to show you exactly how to make leveling adjustments if it happens to get out of level. Enjoy!

Congrats and enjoy. Everything should work out just fine...but inspect for any defects, scratches.

I have had them out at my place several times always a good job and friendly guys.

Water, coffee, donuts. :)

Today will be a fun day ,Congratulations !

Had my 9 ft Pro Am delivered March 2016. Installation went perfect. You're in for a treat! Post pics please.

Congrats!! You're gonna love it! Please share pics.

I don't play one pocket and have only watched it a few times. What is a one pocket cage?

It's a wire rack that clips into the table for keeping score, it attaches near the ball return opening at the foot of the table

1pkt Score keepers

The best score keepers/ball holders in my opinion.
Ball trays screwed to the bottom of the table.

Congrats!

Congrats on a great table, I am jealous.

I live in Alaska, it will take me awhile to get there. I got my caribou sausage and my smoked King Salmon strips. What kind of beer you like?

Lets do a marathon. Play 16 hours, drink beer and eat and sleep for 8 hours then back playing. 16 on 8 off, last man standing wins!

congrats, top notch table and light

did you get an explanation of the differences between their table lights?

they all kinda seem to provide the exact same end result

Where are our pictures??!

Seriously, congratulations I'm anxiously awaiting mine to be built as we speak. So this is like window shopping after ordering. PICS! (please)

Here they are. Gary and Mike came by and did a really great job installing the table.

I had never seen the inside of a Diamond and I was totally impressed. That leveling system is genius.

I already have beer in the fridge for Mr. Black Ball

I did talk to the owner of Lite Systems and he did a really good job explaining. I have it mounted (currently) 8 feet off the floor and it does a really great job lighting the table. Not sure where it will end up (might lower it) but it is super easy to adjust. Really great light.

Deal!

Hey, I will be going up to Anchorage for a work project. Let me know if you want to go to that place Mark Griffin owns up there (forgot the name) and play a bit.
