Deanoc should be in the pool HOF. If there is not a category one should be created.
We have been friends since we were kids in Oak Cliff (Dallas) over 50 years ago.
He is the most unique person I have ever known. I remember when he first started
selling cues on AZ. He said, I can't do pictures I'll just kind of describe it that will
work. I asked him why he doesn't get his great little wife to do it I know she can,
she's not like us He says he doesn't want to bother her and besides,she doesn't
share my enthusiasm. I tell him the way you describe cues makes no since that
will never work. Okay he says I'll just make it a mystery or a surprise. DEAN
are you nuts who is going to spend 2 or 3 thousand on a surprise cue for crying
out loud. Well guess what. He alone has had more unique cues made by the
top cue makers in the world than everyone else combined,and got them into
the hands of players and collectors at very good prices considering what they
are. Although never a great player he is a action magnet, he gets things going
and will get the whole place gambling. He will match up and play ANYONE, and
if he is supposed to win he will win, no dogging it because he is playing a champion.
He is at home and can mingle with CEO's of major corporations to a bum
on the street treating them all with the same respect. He has befriended and
helped many champions some down on their luck even having them to to his
beautiful home for weekend get together s with other players and world renown
cue makers.He loves kids and is always coming up with something cool to give
some kid he doesn't even know. He keeps this site awake, if you see thread
by him you open it because it's like Forest Gump said it's like a box of chocolates
you never know what you're going to get.

Verbosity might not diminish the underlying thought, however, it surely does disguise it exceedingly well.

Cool write up jackpot. Something tells me that Dean deserves the induction or at the very least an honorable mention. Dean is on my list of people in the pool world that I would like to meet.
 
Never mind the Hall of Fame...I always wanted to be on the Dean's list.
 
Has my vote. Deanoc is someone you should know. His threads are interesting and upbeat. Never Negative. And as weak of a 1p player I am I’d play him a dollar ball and buy him lunch afterwards..... and coffeee.
