DCC rails

I was there this year (and about 5 prior years). I also really liked how they played this year. To me, they were a bit less bouncy then the prior years. I think the only difference I could tell was it was super warm outside this year, and the prior years it was cold and snowing. IDK if that could be the cause of the better play. Or it’s very likely it was all placebo in my head and they played exactly the same. Ha ha.

I found out. They used Artemis Intercontinental #66 rails. They do bolt up to K55 top rail frames. They played well at this years DCC. Best guess, all European events might use this set up. What tables Don't have K55 top rails nowadays????????

I'm pretty sure Artemis Intercontinental #66 cushions are a K55 profile (not K66). Thought I'd mention this to avoid confusion (or maybe cause some).

Correct, Artemis Pool 66 is the K66 profile, and Artemis Intercontinental 66 is the K55 profile. You'd think they'd word the K55 profile cushions differently to avoid confusion.

I've got some Diamond black K55 cushions (purchased from Diamond a few years ago) that I'm getting ready to install on some rails. Curious that Diamond wasn't using their own cushions. Did they stop using them on their tables?

RKC might know but I heard there was so many $100 bills from last years DCC they had no where to put them so they lined the rails
