I too have lived in Tucson since 1970 and thought I knew all of the players here but cannot figure out who Boogeyman may be. I must say, I admire his bravado and hope he gets his shot at this match. I'm sure it could be set up at Pockets, Click's, Freezers, BullShooters and there will be quite an online following and participation of betting.

Boogeyman, I'm easy to find in either poolroom in Tucson and could help spar for your practice. I for one would like to see this happen, heck, I'll even commentate the darned thing!

I perused a few old posts...

He was NOT born when Kennedy was killed in 1963, but as of a few years ago he had been around AZ pool rooms (Phoenix) for 25 years. So the guy is probably around 50 give or take

He has been in the military and stationed in Hawaii and appears to have been in Hawaii occasionally whether it is service-related or post service.
 
I can't believe Donny Mills went out like that. I looked at the break stats and that tells the story. Donny is a great player but he isn't going to beat anyone who he doesn't out break.
If I'm breaking good neither Karen Corr or the girl that beat Donny or Donny would have a chance of beating me In a short race, long race it doesn't matter.

BTW I'm gonna get ready to take all 3 to pound town and a nice seafood dinner after, and never call them again.

Good one Chuck! LOL By the way I'm a 640 Fargo and I watched her play Donny and I have no chance of beating her. NONE! If I played her a race to 50 I would be happy if I got to 25 which I probably wouldn't. I just looked up my odds in Fargo against a 790 player in a race to 50 and it was 0%! Fair Match race to 13 I would get to 5.

I probably have less than 5 games.

I don’t believe in ratings as it is anyways.
If you’ve read my posts on the relevant subject,
I consider things like heart, concentration, safety play, etc
as factors that can lessen (and even eliminate) such
rediculous handicaps).

When I started playing, everyone played even.
That’s my mentality when I play.
So if I to get games on the wire, hell, I’m in heaven!

Bman you have grit, nothing wrong with that. If you pull this off you will get my vote for a chance to play on the M-cup....I have connections, by the way you resemble a young Willie Mosconi;)

I apologize, At large, if I presumed a point.
As I say, I want, and will match up with any female pro player because
I have all the confidence in the world that I can wear her down when taking
all intangibles into account.

Remember this, from a genetic perspective, men
have more testosterone, which makes us relatively more competitive (a.k.a hungrier, killer instinct) than women.
This makes a YUGE difference in sport.
And yes, I’ll play JB.

I consider myself to have grit, no doubt.
As I have mentioned before, my goal is to prove show (and excuse me if this sounds sexist in any way) that I can hang with ANY female pro pool player in a race to 50
on account of the attributes I have brought up previously.

No woman can have the stamina you do because she's a woman? Really?

You have somehow come to the assessment that you--some anonymous internet guy-- are going to OUT-THINK a player who is performing as one of the best players on the planet?

I would pay for PPV if Boogeyman and Siming Chen went head to head, no matter how long the race would be. In my opinion a race to 30 would be more sensible though for both the participants and viewers :rolleyes:

It is nice to see people stepping up to a challenge but a little more respect should be shown for Chen, she is a stone cold killer on the table and will give any guy or gal a handful in rotation games. Nobody should take her by granted as the girl can play for sure. That said she is not invincible by any means so go ahead and take her up on the offer and prove your superiority :wink:

A match like this could spark some interest for the game and should definitely be put up :rolleyes:
 
Perhaps BM is trying to distort reality. Some of his claims of grit and stamina is based on nothing more than imagination and biases.

A legit 650 isn't a lock to win an unhadicapped weekend tournament.

SMC is winning tournaments like Amway, China Open, and World Championshps.
