At the International 9-Ball Open there will be plenty of time and tables for use each night after the last matches end. Tables should be available until about 6am.
Also, Q-Masters Billiards will be open 24/7 Wednesday through Saturday during the International.

Awesome! Sounds like the event to be at!

So glad Q is still doing that. So much cool shit happens there in the middle of the night... big action, funny shit, pros getting in fist fights... good times.

This is the "old school" way of running a tournament; play the tournament matches first and when they're over let the players gamble on them all night! The tournament room gets transformed into an action room, Derby City style. I suspect the players will prefer to stay there at the hotel/tournament venue and match up, rather than go all the way to Q Masters. Good for Pat! :thumbup2:

I like it....I remember when the last ball dropped for the night...nobody left.

LOL, it's 10mins from the venue...

It might only be ten minutes away....but Brady made it light years.

Free to railbird?
Action session tickets?

Thanks,
Keith

couldnt care less as i dont know where the international is even held other than the city since that was posted. why not tell people. thats why pool has little hope of growing, its the people associated with advertising. they only think that everyone should know what they are talking about since they know.

pool needs good business people to run things.

I'm a moron. I don't understand where you are going with that?

I doubt if anybody has ever called you a moron other that yourself, sir.

This is just a matter of Behrman selling the US Open to Matchroom with no notice to
Pat Fleming, one of the most loyal supporters of that institution.

I felt Brady should’ve at least had the courtesy to call.

I saw Pat at the Stone but I didn’t bring it up...he was playing well and I didn’t want to
interfere with his game.....
....so if I’ve misunderstood the situation, I’ll have egg all over my face....
...but I’m pretty sure this is what happened.

Pat Fleming is a pool player.
In addition to that he has plenty of brains, business sense, and knows what the players, railbirds, touts, backers, hangers on, has beens, is beens, used to be's, and anybody else who has something significant to do with the game really want.
This tournament will be an outstanding success.
I will refrain from comments about the other guy who ran the thing.

They may get some of the residual action. I'm betting all the real action will be on the tournament tables.
Oh I have no doubt about that.

Just as far as wanting to shoot as well, I will probably end up at Q at some point in the wee hours of the morning each night. Regardless of what people may think of the Behrmans, I personally really like that poolhall.

I missed you again at turning stone, PT. I was hanging out with SJM around there on Saturday and Sunday. Also didn't want to bring it up with Pat playing well.

And no egg on you, Brady was not professional with Pat in the very end. Never saw the respect in seeking the continuation of your father's namesake tournament, but actually skipping a year to do it. Pat once again is stepping in and saving the day and holding a U.S.Open 9 ball tournament for 2018.
Call it international or whatever, but there will be a gap in the U.S. Open champions list for 2018...that will be Brady's legacy.
