Efren "Farewell" Tour, anyone know dates?

Just got a Facebook share that Efren will be at Shooters in CT for a few days, Sunday Oct 21 and that Wed. Does anyone know any other stops?

Why is it so hard to find out info on pool events, is the industry that bad at advertising and getting word out about events?

The International 9-Ball Open starts on Oct. 21. So Efren will be in the states doing some more "retirement" touring instead of playing in Norfolk?

From that post by Connecticut APA, yep, he will be in CT on 21st and second show 24th.

General admission tickets are $10 and VIP that are sold out are $100. So not sure what general admission is for, you can be in the same building as Efren but you can't approach him go say hi or get an autograph?

When Bustamante was doing challenge matches, was $40 to play both him and his opponent 2 or 3 games each.
 
I have my VIP tickets already for October 21 can’t wait met him before but it’s only 100 bucks It’s a meet and greet and you get to play him three games plus front row seats can’t wait
 
Shooters is my home room and we have a well attended seniors practice league there twice a week.

One of our senior players has ponied up $2k for a Challenge Match 9b race to 13 between Efren & Jeremy Sossei (The Giant Killer) that will take place at the end of one of our senior league sessions. Winner will get $1500, loser gets $500.

Should be a lot of fun. :cool:

I'm very happy that Shooters owner and all around good guy, Sal "Cool Cat" Conti, has made Efrens appearances possible. :thumbup:

not sure which day(s) but yes, definitely won't miss seeing The Magician right in my back yard. :)

Not sure about your exact area but he was on the West Coast in Los Vegas and pretty sure in some CA rooms maybe a few months ago. Maybe he'll play in the US Open as a "guest" next year, Matchoom could do worse than invite him in with a free entry.

Efren is on the list for the American Straight Pool Championships which are at Carom Cafe in NYC, October 16-19. I've been to four of five of those in a row but I have to miss this one which I think is his first appearance in this tournament :(.
