Gee Get a grip, how many forums with tens of thousands of members have YOU run?
None? That's what I thought. You really do need to get a grip.

That's the thing about forums that are open to public comment. Guess what? People get to share their opinions. My opinion is that this forum goes down or has problems way more than others that I have used. Period. If you don't agree, say so. But to say that "I" personally need to have run large forums or websites myself in order to have a valid opinion, is frankly, silly.

That's a typical line of attack here.

"If you don't like how that pool hall is run, start one yourself!"

"If you don't like how that tournament was run, you should organize a tour yourself!"

"If you don't like that cue, you should make one yourself!"

Dumb.

I believe I know what is causing the speed issues. I don't know anything about page format issues. Can someone who is experiencing these issues, drop me a PM explaining what is going on and I can look into it?

Yes, we are still on version 3 of vbulletin. It is a stable release and there are add-ons that we are running that are not coded for version 4 or higher. With that being said, there are less of those add-ons than there used to be, so I will look into an upgrade to version 4. Heck, I will even look into a different forum platform.

Hey Mike, I'd highly not recommend updating VBulletin, the new offerings are terrible in my opinion. And much of the cool stuff like the I-trader setup and reputation system won't work properly on the new iterations(or they weren't before).

If you do upgrade forums xenforo is rather nice, definitely not something to do on a whim.

Thanks for responding Mike. I'm not very tech savvy but I believe all the problems that I have been experiencing have been posted earlier in this thread.
Best of luck resolving this.

...wheuu, I don't know about a rebuild mike,
to many bells and whistles here, you must of greased something,
running smooth now.

Other than the day or two outage a while back I have never had issues with loading speed or anything like that.
