What he said :yeah:
OK... I feel SORRY for you and your team ...
Well I'm back from the casino and happy to report it went better than planned.
The accountant in me couldn't justify spending more to fix up a cue than it's likely worth, regardless of it's cool nostalgic factor. That said, it was going to get done one way or another, whether I did it or not.
Now it's time to get busy on having it done. First, is to check with Schmelke and see if they made it. If so, it's probably worth a little more than I thought, but more importantly, I'll be leaning toward them to do the refurbishing...
I'll post back here who I go with, and how it turns out. Some before and after pics should be cool...
I'm currently without an avatar until it's finished.
This is what a $100 buy-in at blackjack grossed tonight...
So, you doubled your buy-in? That's great!!!
(Assuming on the doubling, because zero information given on how well it actually went at the casino. Lotta people don't know poker chip color schemes and values by heart...)

$445

new shaft, new brass joint with 5/16 14 thread screw. and let the maker refinish but leave the wrap untouched, its great.
spend a few bucks or you will be sorry later after you ruin it.
Agree 100% on keeping the wrap. Thanks for that
I dunno... I never went much for super "old-school" looking cues, so I would probably have ended up replacing the wrap, but that's just me...
