Siming Chen vs Donny Mills

That reminds me years ago probably in the early 2000's (I heard in the local Philly grapevine at the time) Pete Fusco was backing Karen Corr vs Russel Parsons playing 9 ball. Karen wins the first 2 sets, says her stomach hurts, and quits. Russell wanted to punch her. I wonder if Siming is mad at Wilke for one and done?

I bet there's a lot more pro men itching to play Chen now.

John Schmidt needs to make it happen. I'm sure Roy would go for it.

If Schmidt plays her even 9 ball/10 ball, we will be in for a treat! He does have to get off his all around bs though. That was dumb.

...snip...
The amount of "direct" coupling between top 100 women and men over 700 might be 10,000 games or so. So adding 100 just doesn't mean anything.

The bottom of the top 100 women are B players though that would be beat by the top local guys in any local pool hall. My contention is there is very little coupling between the "Pro level by men's standards" women vs the pro level men. Save for Karen and Jasmine.

Here are the top women as of today that are 740 and above. Do you have records of any of them playing a 740 or above man? If so, would you share them? Right now I only know of Siming vs Efren race to 3, Siming vs Donny race to 15, and Siming vs Wilkie race to 12.

Siming Chen CHN783
Sha Sha Liu CHN772
Xiao-Fang Fu CHN763
Chieh Yu Chou TPE763
Han Yu CHN761
Ga Young Kim KOR756
Xiaotong Wang CHN751
Chezka Centeno PHI747
Ruebelin Amit PHI746
Xiaoting Pan CHN746
Xue Chen CHN745
Kelly Fisher GBR741
Meng Gao CHN741

I like that this is bringing more interest in pool.

Beats the hell out of months waiting for Shaw and Berg and then not see it happen. Then 3 days(20+ hrs of play) of barbox 8b as a consolation.

Getting your jollies off putting women in their place is so hot right now. Well, I suppose that's not a new phenomenon.

ha ha ha. No, I'd give my left nut to play like Siming!

I was actually hoping the Filipina Chezka would storm the men's world to pump some life into our game.

I think having women play the same as the men would pump huge life into our game.

I just don't think it willl happen, and I think the Fargo rate of the TOP 15 women are elevated. PS, I love fargorate. I just think its not correct for the top, top, top women.

Chezka Centeno beat "Do. MILLS" 11-7 in the 2016 US Open 9-Ball Championship. I imagine that was Donny.

[Then she lost 11-2 to Biado in the next round.]

Bringing more interest in pool to who? AZ Forum members?

Thank you for that! She made such a splash and was so fun to watch. I wish she would compete regularly with the Men.

Are those two matches in Fargo?

Well unless your living on Mars its pretty clear Roy's Basement has caused plenty of interest in these head to head matches not only his but its sparked others to produce them in fact more than I can ever remember seeing , I expect this yr is going to be the best of all time in said type matches and its not going to be AZ members leading the viewership its FB followers
