It's better today, but on my monitor the overhead look makes the table appear a little distorted, so the 3/4 view is better.

But in general I prefer the 3/4 view for watching pool regardless. Pool is a three dimensional game and in the direct overhead it appears two dimensional, which takes away from its beauty, in my opinion.
 
16-11 Chen's object ball rarely touches the rail going in. Almost always close to center pocket.
 
Donny seems to shift his whole body to the right in a flinching manner every time he is on his delivery stroke.
