Little Ko

Big Ko

Filler

Chang

Kaci

Is anyone else even close ???

All the players you listed are Top 10 in my book. But 2 or 3 of them probably not in the top 5. Insert in Wu, SVB and possibly Shaw.

There’s a guy from Scotland named Shaw
..and a guy from China name Wu

So far, I think the eight so mentioned....if any one of them has a bad night’s sleep...
...they’ll get eaten alive by the other seven

Ummmm... two glaring omissions:

Wu Chia Ching
Shane Van Boening

Kaci, IMO, doesn't belong in the top 5.

I think my top 5 are:

Wu
Filler
SVB
Shaw
JL Chang

not necessarily in order.

Ko Pin Yi is out; Ko Pin Chung is trying to claw in.

no one has to like gettin down with SVB in a winner break match format

in an alternate break format he falls out of the top 5

I think Niels Feijen deserves consideration in this list. Carlo Biado and Dennis Orcollo as well.

Kaci, IMO, doesn't belong in the top 5.

Those are my top five as well. In order:

1. Josh Filler
2. JL Chang
3. Shane Van Boening
4. Wu Jiaqing
5. Jayson Shaw

I'd have Kaci at about 14 or so. Ko Ping Chung has just moved into the top ten for sure, but below Biado, who has a gold and a silver in the last two World 9-ball Championship.

As always, a top player list is hard to make. Obviously, last week Younger Ko was the best. But not sure I would pick him to win in the same field next week. Players in their current form, this is my top five in order.

Filler
Wu
SVB
JL Chang
Shaw

I have always had a great respect for Wu’s game. Because I rarely get to see him play, I’m not sure he is in great form but his showing in the US Open makes me think he is. Shaw is also a loose cannon but more often than not he is a deadly cannon. One of my favorite players to watch when he is in rhythm.
