I like that the Chinese guy plays "power pool" when he needs to. He can fire the ball in center pocket at warp speed if he needs to move the cue ball and doesn't have much angle or rail to work with.

7-5 Zheng. Raga misses a relatively easy five ball (same corner he missed the seven in) and is lucky to win the game anyway.
I was getting ready to say Power, Power, Power and then he over hit the seven getting shape on the eight and I just canned it. :grin:
Yeah, he left a sharp angle and he was all stretched out for the shot...caused him to overrun it.
Zheng wins a very ragged game, with position errors and missed balls by both players. They are showing chinks in their armor. 8-5 now Z.
More errors and misses by both players. They are not quite ready for prime time. The best players would eat these guys alive. Zheng 9-5 now.
I'm watching some very sloppy play now by both guys. This is a case of one playing bad and the other following.
After a poorly hit bank on the one by Zheng that misses badly, Raga runs out. 9-6 now.
Zheng is going to shoot up in the FargoRate rating.
He's currently a 787 with 240 games games in the system, but not on the top 100 list (not enough games). I think when he appears on the top 100 list, probably after this tournament, he will be 800 or higher. He beat the snot out of each of his opponents this tournament, and they were all jam up players. This guy is going to be a world top 10, IMO.

More mistakes. Both these guys have all the weapons but they are still developing as top players. The champions are the guys who play better under pressure. That's what separates them from the other good players. The difference is more mental than physical. It remains to be seen if either of these guys become champion players.
Zheng makes a nice out to reach the hill 10-6. His shirt is hanging out and he doesn't even notice it. He got out of his head and is back to playing pool now.
He has the potential to be but he's not there yet.
But, every once in a while, a young gunslinger will send the a lot of the "champions" packing.
Like it looks they have done this tournament.
He moves like him IMO. The way he holds his head high. Like he's super confident.
Zheng wins 11-6 with another nice out. I loved watching him grind it out with his shirt hanging half in and half out of his pants. Raga pretty much shit all over himself in the last half of this match.
And he shoots fast, with a big stroke.
