A Prayer Request

UPDATE: Saw Larry this afternoon. Aside from him not appreciating having to hang around 5 days being poked and prodded before a surgery, his spirits were pretty good.

He is a 'let's get it done' kind of guy so this is driving him a little batty.

We did have a nice visit and, as usual, we enjoyed some laughs.

Larry says he really appreciates everyone's well wishes.

Brian, I checked the stat's. Hardly anyone dies when they are 92, Larry should be fine. Still no harm in putting in a fix with the man upstairs though!

UPDATE: NY Larry's surgery went well yesterday and he is in recovery mode. He's in good spirits and is scheduled to be discharged this coming Tuesday.

Thanks a lot for everyone's well wishes. He certainly does appreciate it.

Update

Unfortunately, following his surgery there has been a few complications to do with over-hydration then dehydration and kidney function abnormalities. The surgery itself seems to be a success but Larry is still in the hospital now 2 weeks.

They are hoping to discharge him the beginning of this coming week. I spent some time with him yesterday and he's generally in good spirits but definitely going stir-crazy he's already thinking about having the health aide who will be at his home helping him during his recovery to bring him to the pool hall so he can start hitting balls again. :)

Hoping the worst of it's behind him. Please keep New York Larry in your thoughts and prayers
