There are no excuses. CTE doesn't turn humans into robots. We're all flesh, bone, and blood with a nervous system that causes twitches and sometimes a fast beating heart.

When a miss occurs we just suck it up and say "I dogged it".

What is your excuse when you miss?

Here's your answer. (don't push your luck with me, however, I will throw you on IGNORE/BLOCK with the rest of the "Posse" in a heartbeat)
"Reasons" for dogging it.......
I didn't concentrate. I was scared. I was loafing, no doubt about it. My friends were cheering too loud. I didn't stay with my method. The other guy intimidated me. I was sleepy. I was tired. I was drinking too much. I wasn't drinking enough. My nerves rattled me. I had another league match going at the same time. I was on short money. I can't gamble when someone else is backing me I don't like to let people down. The jukebox was too loud. The jukebox was too low. There was a girl flirting with me. There were two girls flirting with me. There was even a GUY flirting with me. I had a cold. I had the Corona. I didn't get any of the rolls. The ball rolled off. I needed a new tip. The sun was not at its meridian height for the planets to be aligned properly for my zodiac to kick in. I had a stomach ache. I had a backache. I had a headache. My wife hates me..we had a fight. THESE CAN GO ON ENDLESSLY...and many are factual reasons too.
But there will be one very significant reason absent from all this bull.. And that is "I dogged it because I AIMED THE WRONG WAY"!
With CTE, there is NO SUCH THING AS AIMING THE WRONG WAY. There may be errors with AIMING INCORRECTLY...BUT THERE IS NO METHOD AS FOOLPROOF, PERCENTAGE WISE, AS CTE.

Most of the time I know why I missed and simply make a mental note of it. If somebody has pushed me onto missing I'll take it up verbally on the spot. Mostly inconsequential games anyway.

Ignore is silly. If I get ignored I consider myself the superior. But back to CTE, I do question statements like this last one, "There is no method as foolproof, percentage wise, as CTE."

Sounds so absolute for such a vague granular system.

Probably 10 or so. Not because of your attack on CTE as much but the attack on Hal Houle and Stan Shuffett who are both genuinely two super human beings for their kindness and devotion for passing something down in pool that makes the game easier and more fun at all levels.

Neither of them and those who learned to use their creation deserve the horrific and long lasting onslaught of negativity and hatred that you and your gang have made your mission in life for 22 years. Normal human beings just don't think of doing what you've done let alone do it straight for that many years.

It's been absolutely despicable and your actions should have been stopped and shut down entirely in a moderated forum.

But you have zero shame or remorse. Says a lot about your character.

CTE lives bigger and better than ever throughout all levels of pool starting with pro players and top amateurs on down throughout the ranks.

And now YOU ARE CTE OWNED!! It HAS TAKEN OVER YOUR MIND AND ACTIONS.

A quick search reveals this back in 2008:

So that puts you at around 12 years. I'm guessing that if I dug a little more I could find stuff from you on CTE further back. So you've been at it for quite awhile yourself ;-)

OK 12...I wasn't locked into 10. I said 10 OR SO.Big deal. BUT, it's all thanks (NO THANKS) to you and your friends with the destructive posts you made and had made 10 years prior on RSB.

Lou, you have a history of being the playground bully. You did it on onepocket.org.

It got to the point where the members and owner couldn't stand your crap and BANNED you for life. You haven't been there for years and never will go back.

History has repeated itself here but with no actions being taken.

Well being in support of and sharing info on CTE, a subject which Dave knows in its entirety, is totally different then arguing for 20 against a subject that someone, you, have very little knowledge of.

I think there are some members of the "Dan White Posse" who are genuinely stubborn (along with ignorant) about how CTE and ProOne actually work. Simply because their minds are closed to new concepts or ideas.
Those are the ones who, inwardly, long for the return of dial phones, the Railway Express Agency, straight ahead field goal kickers, Mosconi style pool playing (he would be wiped out by some of these Filler, Aranas, Bustamante types), flathead Ford engines, and distributor caps. None of which will ever return in our lifetimes.
Those negative people have been brought up on "aim at the facing of the pocket"..."aim those shots toward the edge of the pocket to allow for throw" and other antiquated ideas.
Never realizing that with the CTE methods of play...all of that stuff is automatically taken care of. Aiming at the pocket openings is not a consideration whatsoever, since the perceptions of 15-30-45-60 take care of anything that may come up and send the ball to the heart of the pocket. Without being concerned with pocket openings, cling, throw, or any of that other stuff.
So, in their ignorance and stubbornness they resist....and after the resistance becomes ingrained over a period of years they become mean spirited, bigoted, closed minded, and someone who cannot get along with anyone very much.

You're right. I don't know what's going on over there currently. But I certainly DID know what was going on over there when you got clobbered over the head with the BAN hammer. There wasn't very much love tossed around your way afterwards either.

They have their share for length of time and total number of times.

Hey, it's a rough bar to drink in. Gotta be tough and willing to do what needs to be done. Especially against playground bullies.

You'd be a lot easier to take if you had a little humility. You slandered Lou and his situation at Onepocket.org and you didn't know what you were talking about. A little, "sorry, bud, my bad" seems in order.

My longest ban was 3 months and that was a long time ago. My last ban was from NPR and had nothing to do with billiards and was for 1 month. I don't mind being banned for taking a stand on something. Mike told me that I had "made my point."
