Fuggit. Leave it there, that tree is only getting stronger as time passes.
The one holding the tree is lucky it doesn't work - she'd lose a few knuckles on the door's edge as it cleared the tree.

all you guys saying the tree must come down, I disagree.
Couldn't they just make a notch in the tree then close the door and oce the car's freed up they can drive to a garden center where they can buy some of that tree wound sealer stuff and go back and apply some but be real careful about where they park.
