Hello ,

Along with the new Premium Aramith set we also got some Aramith cleaner which you know what it is used for but it said something about taking static away maybe. I just wanted to ask if polishing a new set with the cleaner would maybe put a protective coat over the balls so they would keep from getting marks as easy from pockets and so fourth. Would this make sense or do you guys just play with the new set and then clean afterwards. I am just seeing if any benifit to cleaning a set before play helps anything or makes them roll faster etc . I know this is a stupid question but new to ball maintence. Never had to maintain a nice set before and would like to take care of this set for longevity. Thanks

I spend my time actually using the equipment not worrying about every tiny thing that can happen to it. Play for a week, wipe them off with a microfiber towel and some water (maybe even go as long as two weeks!). Play some more. Last two new sets of balls I opened do not look to be harmed by me not prepping them for play first in some way.

Not sure if he even plays. How could you when all you do is worry about all the minutiae he asks about? Whatever floats-ur-boat i guess.

First things first. What was the solution to the skylight issue?
Needless to Say we got that Squared away. But you know it Warms the Heart to know you care enough to ask. Good thing we are not in a pool Room because if they found out how sweet and kind you really are people would take advantage of you.

Garc , you cut me to the quick there Buddy. Yes long time Player. 9 ball is a fav. Let’s just say I have a lot of time on my hands. I was a pretty heavy Tournament player back in the day when we had 5 pool rooms in our Town then the last one closed 21 years ago and I retired so to speak. My Son got into playing and I got Hungry again , he bled it back into me. I’m Back ! Did you ever hear of a Hustle called 2 Brothers and a Stranger ?

If I still had my magic 8 ball I would consult it but since I haven't seen in for about 50 years I'll say probably not but if it makes you feel better then do it.

I clean my Aramith balls with a formula of liquid soap and water. I dry them with paper towels. I do that about once a month. The cue ball about once a week.

100 year old BBC 9 foot table...shoot a few balls every other day...use Kamui .98 every 20 to 30 shots unless I need to juice it up...use Aramith cleaner to clean Aramith balls, vacuum table, and tighten T rails once a year. Sporadically brush the table. This is fairly clean and is much cleaner than bar tables.
