What happened to Robb Saez?

I talked with robb saez at derby and he is suffering from double vision and eye problems that fade in and out!

He had to switch his stance at the table. He has appointment to get some additional care for the injury!

People stood by and let it happen. Just sad 😞!

Shane has always been a hot head. He and Robb have a history both gambling and running their mouths. Just a couple months before they had a drunken and heated exchange late night at another tournament. Shane was was definitely the aggressor that night. He seemed upset about the last time he and Robb gambled in Louisiana. After Shane ran his mouth for a while Robb reminded him that he had put a 13 on him and to save his backers money. lol Was pretty funny, but didn't make the situation better. Shane became louder and more belligerent. I had a feeling then, something was gonna happen at somepoint because it almost did that night.

FTR the back and forth was comical to those of us who have been around. Without the alcohol it probably would have just been two guys running their mouths but when one crosses the line (and has a HUGE ego) and the other fires back something both true and embarrassing to the one trying to look big and bad, it never ends well.

Funny all the trash talking in pool for the 40 or so years I have been around it. This is the "Only" altercation!!! At this "Level" of play! Additionally, the rash of incidents only started to appear when one person emerged in Pro- Pool and Robb Saez has been around pro-pool for decades!!!

So you're saying this is the only altercation that has taken place in 40 years lololololol. Mid to low level pros or not, still lolololol

At this level!

Last one I have heard of was grady mathews and bob ogborn before this last one.

I make it a point to know "who" to keep an eye on!!!

Safety first!

Extrapolate what you will!

I have never liked pool rooms that serve alcohol -- for this very reason.

Unfortunately, here in the States, pool rooms that sell pool alone cannot make ends meet. Instead, they are bars, sports bars with loud music, and food.

He is some of that "No bar, no pinball machines, no bowling alleys, just pool... nothing else." type pool

Very nice setup! With that many tables, weekly tournaments are so much better. Shooting instead of sitting 👍 There is a similar setup local to me, whenever I cash, I donate half back to the guys that put it together. Nice tables.

There are two chairs and a side table for every pool table. This photo was just to show off the pool tables before the covers went on

This is the back room for tournaments. We just ranr an event yesterday with 18 players, races to 9 and 7 9-ball, was done in 6 hours.

The front room has a lounge, a card room, a small kitchen, plenty of space and more seating. It also has a golf table, with a set of Centennials (pool, snooker, carom) coming soon.

It would suck playing on that table in the center of the room - no where to sit, no where to even stand without being in the way of one of the other tables.

We moved the center valley out and put a table and chairs in for that reason.
