Neither is better than the other
Why is that? Everything i've heard/read on the Tournament is they leave less burn marks and stay cleaner longer. Duramith is Aramiths's newest resin formula as opposed to the Cent. using the older SuperAramith resin. And the Tournaments are usually cheaper 'cause your not paying to have 'Brunswick' on the side of the box.Neither is better than the other

Did these sell already?I have a set of like-new Centennials for $160+ship
Not what I've found: best I've found so far is $336 for the Centennials, $356 for the Tournaments. And the Tournaments are usually cheaper 'cause your not paying to have 'Brunswick' on the side of the box.
They're a little higher than the older SAPro but still less than Centennials.Burn marks and clean balls, stuff that's natural and unavoidable
sounds like something they'd get pool players to pay hundos extra for
Never seen Cent's that low. I don't check that much. I'd probably go for the Dynasphere Bronze and pocket the left-over $200bux.Not what I've found: best I've found so far is $336 for the Centennials, $356 for the Tournaments.
Apologies in advance for a bit of a thread hijack but speaking of leaving things at the pool hall I was in a league years ago with a guy who played with a Scruggs sneaky. He had a few too many drinks and left his cue at the pool hall and didn't realize it until next week when he showed up for the league and there was no cue in his case. He checked the cues on the wall and there was his Scruggs sneaky on the wall alongside the house cues.I also bring the Centennials and a template if I'm going to a pool room. There is less chance of someone objecting to playing with your own balls if they are Centennials. Damn if I didn't leave my 2 ball at the pool hall somehow. Fortunately you can buy single replacement Centennials from various sources.
Honestly, in all the years I've played with expensive balls, my original set of Aramith Premiums seem to be just as good as anything.
C'mon man, NOBODY is that lucky.Apologies in advance for a bit of a thread hijack but speaking of leaving things at the pool hall I was in a league years ago with a guy who played with a Scruggs sneaky. Yes, confirmation of exactly what I said yesterday, when comparing numerous sets of both that had the identical amount of usage on them.I have both Centennials and Aramith Tournaments. Both sets were bought at the same time. I rate the Aramiths slightly better than the Centennials because they stay cleaner for longer periods of time than the Centennials.
The truth is Cyclop balls are better than all of them.Yes, confirmation of exactly what I said yesterday, when comparing numerous sets of both that had the identical amount of usage on them.
I hope your cues play better than Cyclop exploding ballsThe truth is Cyclop balls are better than all of them.
I seriously doubt that. Yes I’ve played with them and the new Dynasphere and HyperionThe truth is Cyclop balls are better than all of them.
There's a reason all the Cyclop stuff was discontinued, the balls break frequently, the 7-ball exploding is a known issue. Plus they play like crap.I seriously doubt that. Yes I’ve played with them and the new Dynasphere and Hyperion
I guess it depends on what you look for in a ball. I have several sets and I like them and I was very disappointed with the last set of centennials I bought. Mine don't explode, is that because I'm not a "banger"? Played in dozens of tournaments here in the northwest with 90 sets of them in play 16 hours a day and there were no catastrophic failures.I seriously doubt that. Yes I’ve played with them and the new Dynasphere and Hyperion
I liked the Hyperion balls I played with at Griffs. I’ve personally seen two cyclop balls cracked, almost split in half. Maybe the problem was just with the original ones. Not sure which ones you usedI guess it depends on what you look for in a ball. I have several sets and I like them and I was very disappointed with the last set of centennials I bought.
