that was intentional, the owner wanted a driveway of stamped concrete......
Coming home from our trip to Europe.
If I owned that place, I would make that ‘L’ placement permanent....it would get talked about.
....we have a Chinese/Canadian restaurant in our town....the sign says GOOD FOOD....with the GOOD vertical and the
FOOD horizontal at the bottom. About 60 years ago, the ‘D’ in ‘good’ burned out, and the OOD burned out.
....and it was left like that for decades.
...it‘s been known as the GOOF ever since, and is a very popular breakfast spot.
First to die and last to die were father and son.
And they both died on the same date, different year of course.
When I took up outdoor photography inevitably I found myself taking pictures of birds. Other photographers would give the bird's name, sex, latin name, any other data they figured was relevant. They knew more about the birds than anybody except the bird's momma. I would say big chicken, little chicken, wading bird, field bird, tweety bird!
I took some pictures of birds on a nest inside an old church. Somebody told me they were barn swallows. I replied that these were church swallows. The lady got all indignant that I questioned her ID of the birds. Some folks are lacking a sense of humor!
