Barry's comment in the interview that his management team has shown its quality during the pandemic is certainly accurate with respect to pool.
For my money, Emily Frazer has already worked two miracles.
1) When Alexandra Palace was closed for safety reasons, Emily, working closely with the British government, found a way to save the Mosconi Cup by setting up something like a bubble in the Milton Keynes arena. This saved the event and put $225,000 in the pockets of ten players who had largely been denied an opportunity to earn a living in the pandemic year.
2) The conception of a new pool event during the pandemic seemed, at best, a longshot, but Emily found a way to stage a new event with $85,000 added despite the difficulty of doing so.
