It has been my experience that the vast majority of good to great pool players don't even know what an "objective" or "subjective" process is. Lol. And they don't have to know because it doesn't matter.
I can see it now, two aspiring players having a beer together in a poolhall somewhere. One of them says, "I'm thinking about buying that CTE book, just to see if it can help me get better."
The other one says, "Dude, that's a subjective aiming system. The writer says it's objective, but according to some unknown players on AZ billiards, it's really not objective. It's just a trick to get you to buy the book."
"I don't give a shit if it's objective or subjective. I don't even know what the hell that really means. I just wanna check it out and see if it can help my game."
That's the bottom line, the only question that matters....Can it help your game?
Can it help you see shots in a different way?
The only way to know is to try it. Like Poolology, it really doesn't matter what anyone else says or thinks about the system, because all that matters is whether or not it helps you. And only YOU can make that determination.
