not sure who maintains this site, but, I don't see Matlock's 28 racks of 9-ball. What sticks out the most to me are Ralph with 27 racks of 8 ball and Efren with 5 full racks of rotation.

Our sport has done a terrible job of recordkeeping over the years. We'd all like to see that change. Of course, if pool ever becomes as big as snooker, it's likely that the record keeping in pool will start to rival that already in place in snooker.
We all remember Ronnie O'Sullivans 1,000 century break, and the most amazing thing to me was that somebody has the records to verify it. Imagine trying to figure out how many centuries have been run at straight pool in competition by the game's most elite players. It's almost inconceivable.
That's still the coolest 147 I've never seen.Another time he knew they were paying "only" ten thousand for a 147. Purely to make a point he ran a 146, leaving one more 147 off of his record.
