CTE Testimonials

And the good stuff just keeps on coming(y)(y)

I just wanted to take a quick moment and thank you so much for providing The Truth Series (YouTube) and all the hard work that you have done throughout the years with CTE. I would have been lost without all your hard work and I believe without a shadow of a doubt, this truly is the only way to correctly sight.”

It would be interesting if these testimonials indicated the level of play for each person. A testimonial like this from a beginner is basically worthless.

Mary Kenniston, Pocket Billiards Hall of Famer, while commentating live at The Texas Open Tournament 8-28-2021 said,....."Yes, I am a proponent of the CTE method of aiming for pool shots. I always knew there had to be a system that worked better. And I wanted that."

It's a problem with the testimonials and also with the threads in the Main Forum where someone is bemoaning their fails or asking for advise.

Without context as to their level of play it's impossible to respond in any kind of meaningful fashion. It's kind of like when that guy who used to post here would go on and on about how fabulous his instructor was, when he was such an inexperienced player to begin with you knew he had no basis for his claims.

Ah yes... The 'instructor' without merit. I was in a local hall last year and saw an ad on one of the TVs. It was for a local dude who I could give the 4, and may be a mid level banger at best. Someone who I should be giving lessons to honestly. Yet there he was, selling his services in only one of the local halls. That's why I don't give much credence to the title of "instructor". Anyone can collect money for advice. Doesn't mean they have any clue what they're doing.

The running gag is that my team is going to 'rent' the guy for a few hours for me and record the session. Just for shits and giggles.

Your post has nothing of a positive nature concerning CTE Aiming testimonials. You're violating Mr. Howerton's orders about that and your conduct has been reported.
If you have nothing to say positive about CTE Testimonials, this thread is not for you.
You have many other threads available in which to enjoy your debates.
Have a good day.

Good day.
The above post is in direct conflict of the rules laid out by azhousepro (site admin) regarding the content of this thread. As such I have reported your efforts in further the derailing of this thread.

Curious if you reported John as well. Or is your pestering of the site admin solely focused on those who you think have a probem with CTE..?

People need to pretend they are talking face to face. If they did they might be more diplomatic & polite.

Easy to be asshat on line, tougher fact to face. Even bullies get butts kicked.

Personally, I don't need to pretend. I wouldn't hesitate to repeat anything I post here to someone's face. That's easily said of course, as I don't name call, or do anything but point out the obvious to the oblivious. My opinions are just that, and if they somehow hurt someone's feelings they should blame their parents for allowing them to think participation ribbons are worth pinning to their wall.

Note the "non-testimonal" liked by the local police:

Straight cue by use of feel or angled cue as led by CTE objectivity.

Well my point is if people practiced what was golden rule. Would would be better place.

This information is priceless. I was struggling earlier until I started to focus on my arm being out to in or in to out. That is when I was able to really take a huge leap. This was the nugget I needed to fully get it. Thank you!!

Testimonial from a certified CTE Instructor....powerful good stuff to support the value of the system. (y)(y)

I made this diagram for someone I've been talking to who has been having trouble. Maybe it will help you too.
Before determining where the bridge goes we must first find whether or not the shot from the sight line looks undercut (thick) or overcut (thin).
If we cut to the left the head tilts left.
If we cut to the right the head tilts right.
If we bank to the left the head tilts left.
If we bank to the right our head tilts right.
Once you've determined the proper perception (in this example I used a 15 perception) and determined if the sight line makes the shot look undercut (thick) or overcut (thin) you can decide where the bridge V goes.

I noticed Allison Fisher at the Texas Open yesterday using this exact procedure for her head tilt when she was in ball address. Whether or not she uses all the aspects of the entire CTE method, I do not know. But I do know she took advanced training from Mr. Shuffett to improve her game.
