I know you have watched the arguments and the madness that has permeated this Aiming Forum in your fine pool shooting website for years and years and years.
Unfortunately, I have allowed myself to be baited into the nonsense by Dan White, Patrick Johnson, Joey Bautista, The JV, and Lou Figueroa.
You have even been kind and generous enough to give the CTE Aiming users a thread with specific rules to keep the arguments out of it. Rules that clearly state it is a positive testimonial thread. Yet, the troublemakers (as I call them) break your rules and invade the thread with comments designed to bait. And I, like a sucker, take the bait and get drawn into worthless "discussion" or arguments with them.
This argument will never end. The anti-cte people fire a shot...and the pro-cte people fire one back. I am guilty of responding..that is a weakness of mine.
On and on and on it goes....never ending. Year after year.
The anti-cte people and anti-aiming system people have successfully chased some very influential pool players out of this aiming forum through their arguments. I speak primarily of C.J. Wiley and Stan Shuffett. No telling how many other pool players stay away from this forum and do not share valuable information because of this fighting.
I do not think the two factions can EVER get along or agree to disagree, or just live and let live.
I personally think it would be beneficial to your site to just eliminate the Aiming Forum entirely. It serves no useful purpose, in my opinion.
Of course this is my opinion only and any final decisions regarding that will be up to you, the owner. Not to me, a simple member.
I'd love to see you do this, however as there are PLENTY of other educational threads available in other forums here in your great pool shooting site for people like me to visit.
I think perhaps you can read between the lines in my message here to you, sir. I have had it with all the trouble and arguing...I am beaten down.
