SVB vs Chang Update Thread

What in the world? SVB grinds him down and seemingly breaks him right at the finish line, and then "gives" him 40 more games to re compose himself? Wow. SVB is a smart dude when it comes to matching up, but seems like he just gave away a monster advantage right there...
Unless they agreed to chop and are playing for the extra ppv this will generate. Also, anything can happen in a race to 5 and I'm sure the amount of focus that it took for Shane to bear down like that is immense. He may have been on fumes...

Whatever happens from here, this match should probably be viewed as a draw. Both horses pulling up shows that the race was just too long. This match was a made for stream mirage. No doubt, we're about to hear that pool has never been played at a higher level in the history of mankind.

I'm surprised Shane agreed to play up to 40 today. He had all the momentum it seems- one would think he would have liked to close it out to 120 last night

Maybe for the players. But it looks like the side bettors got burned here and many will be unhappy no matter which "player" wins.
As with any sports betting, the event promoters do not have obligation to bettors even though bettors may think they do. Bettors bet at their own risk.

And Jeanette Lee will make her comeback in the Ladies Open event.

The promoters may not have an obligation to the bettors, per say, but there is still an obligation to provide that which they are advertising.

What exactly did the PPV viewers just watch? A big money match, that was advertised for $40,000? An exhibition? Or something else?
