Jason, with all due respect, I think we are talking about behavior on the field of play (in Earl's case), not someone's personal life away from the game. I agree with you about all the "pro" athetes who are pretty worthless human beings. This is the main reason I've lost interest in supporting many pro sports (buying overpriced tickets to games, highly overpriced clothing, etc.). I don't care to support these athletes who I have no respect for. When I see them throwing their money around so self indulgently and never giving back to their communities in any way, I am disgusted. So many of them appear to be spoiled, self entitled prima donnas. When they talk, they only perpetuate that image with their bad speech and ignorant statements. Their lack of education is obvious. They may be great athletes, but that's where it ends for me. Yes, there are the exceptions to this bad characterization, but the fact remains they are the exceptions and not the rule. The NFL and NBA are populated with thugs and wanna-be gangsters. No thanks, I don't want your autograph!
