I was at Bill's last night. Dennis was already there practicing his break for approx. 6 hours straight. Then he went straight into action while simultaneously trying to stir up more action with Chip. Table has new cloth. Pockets are bigger than 4". Standard Pro cut size I believe.

he's been practicing it for years, but it still hasn't really turned up. which is weird because he seems to master everything else he puts his mind to. is there a height treshold for having a really good 10b break (as opposed to 9b break)? svb, kaci, shaw, chang, styer.. all pretty tall guys.

I suppose some leverage factors could come into play.

Let's try to think of some shorter players that had big breaks.......

Seems like Shaw takes a little off his 10b break than Shane, but same predictable outcome.

Man I forgot just how tough he played Shane. Those break and run stats are unbelievable! both breaking and running 10 ball racks basically half the time. 47%-48%, Its hard to imagine.

yeah, but.... I wonder what the stats would show just through day 2 of that match when SVB had a +20 something game lead.... I remember watching thinking boy it looks like he took his foot off the gas that last day, which lead to Shaw catching that gear.

might be leverage, but short players can have monster 9b breaks.

ko brothers have very good 10b breaks but i think they're taller than dennis

What makes it even worse, is Roberts is an interesting fella, and now I can't even turn on the sound....
