Mosconi Cup 2021 Day 2 Updates

Here is the second "easy" shot Albin missed. He didn't even really get close to making it in the corner...

Interesting they just interviewd Karl Boyes. Before the SVB match, they asked him if Shaw was a big rival. Shane replied that he was a tough opponent, butSVB felt he had the overall edge on him...

Boyes said that fired Shaw up...ya think...

Holy bejesus. Albin 5 balls on the break. Must be biggest break in MC this decade

Sky make a ball and gets perfect shape on the one. Not so fast my friend! He misses a for real easy shot! Albin with a big chance here. Not So fast my friend! Albin rattles a straight in on the one. Gives the table back.

Sky looks shaky, but manages to get out. 3-2 sky.

I am really digging Niels as a commentator. Entertaining and informative....

funny, and the best breaker in the world considered by most, had dry breaks...
hard to believe.

question for all of you who know the history of the cup, back in the US hay day of this event, was the one ball on the spot? And if so, was this perhaps a change that helped Europe?

Skyler with three hero shots, breaking up the 4-5, making the five all the way down the rail past the side pocket points, and burying the 6-9 combo. 4-3 lead.

Shane's a little socially awkward. Doubt it was meant as a dig. Definitely not as bad/disrespectful as some stuff Shaw has said over the years.

Shane and Tiger Woods are an interesting pair - both dominant tournament players, both struggled mightily in US vs. Europe team play.
