The Legendary Pearl to Take On 14.1 Attempts

Neat little carom shot he hit after breaking the 9th rack.

Eight ball in the side? Miscalled the ball. Missed anyway. What would have happened had he made the combination bank, but he called the wrong ball? It was obvious which ball he was trying to make...after he hit the shot.

Run ends in the 11th rack.

I know 14mm shafts.

Jack Taylor, Alfie’s brother, got me switched over to 14mm shafts when I was a teen.

I started playing with 14mm shafts 50 years ago and I always ordered my custom cues with 14mm shafts.

I am going to play with one tomorrow, but it is 40 years old and is worn down to a little over 13mm now.

The shaft I am using tomorrow rides as smooth as an old heavy Cadillac.

I ordered this cue with a 14mm shaft.

I had this cue made in 1973 with 14mm shafts.

This is an amazing cue amigo!- I love these old school cues!

From what I've seen and read here Earl does not know or care about the basics of the game.
I know the basics of the game better then him from what I've seen him play.
But oh my to keep putting up big runs like that, maybe ignorance is truly bliss.
Anybody else with his strategy would be lucky to break 20 IMO. I learned 14.1 from an old timer when I first started playing pool. I don't play it much but even I can see the traps he gets himself into. That he can shoot his way out of them as often as he does is amazing. Truly amazing!
