Yep. Don't try for a new audience when there one you have has proven inadequate.

I represent the exact audience you should be after. I've played pool for over thirty years. I know a lot about the game and many of the pros. I have cash. I can't stand to watch pool as it is.

If you don't believe that there are a lot of people just like me, you are short sighted and you will have no success, especially suffering from Dunning-kruger like you seem to.

Well, its been my research results to not even consider relying on the American viewing audience because they make up such a small fraction of the world viewing audience, so my plans are not based on your viewership, because all the viewers like you feel you're entitled to watch for free, and that's NOT happening!!

And what makes you so sure that's not a part of my plans, only instead of using 1 TV table for streaming, there's 8 TV tables for live streaming....giving you a CHOICE of who you want to watch, LIVE or on SVOD!
 
Just a note:: recently, I have been watching CSI put on TV the 2019 championships.

The 9-ball format was ho-hum
The 14.1 format was very entertaining.

But I know my viewing habits are not <ahem> normal.
 
Does anyone have a handle on how audiences in South America, Europe, Asia, Australia react to televised or streamed pool in those regions? I know snooker's fairly popular thereabouts, but I don't have any insight as to 8- and 9-ball. There may business models to learn from in other countries.

South America is predominantly billiards because humidity is to high for playing pool. Brazil is predominantly snooker, but mostly played on 10ft snooker tables not the 12ft's.

No, its to break up the male dominance in this sport somewhat, and the easiest way to get the top female players in the world showcasing their skills against the top male players as well. In team competition you're only as strong as your weakest player, so that being said, then I guess the 3 men on the team need to work with their female team mate and push or show her how to improve, so, the men have to realize its team work thats going to win overall, not 3 men and then a woman!
