Pretty good job, watched couple hrs of each.
Was nice to hear good commentary perspectives, and dialogue.
Finally a simple matter was addressed, high chairs for the players in their corners.
Simple but very important aspect, for the non shooting player.
And the camera angles/frontal are coming along nice, but no grip or stance pics.
Also, always nice to see the differences on each players ''walk up'' to the shot.
And since some of you commentators are very knowledgeable, would enjoy hearing those thoughts.
Overall, the productions are on the Up/finally.

Camera angles, video and sound quality are top notch. Those commercial breaks i could do without but other then that its all good.
 
I'm super impressed with the production value of these CSI events. It's sort of bad luck on their part that Matchroom has come along, otherwise I think they would be leading the pack from a production standpoint. I suppose they would be right there with Accustats. Big Truck does a real good job too but all of his stuff is PPV so it doesn't get as many eyeballs on it. Hopefully, with Matchroom you get the "rising tide lifts all boats" thing. Or possibly some sort of cooperative deal between the two. It would be really sad and a huge opportunity wasted if these CSI events went away because all eyes were on MR's events.

Plus their match times already have scheduled commercial breaks built in. They're in a good position to get their stuff aired somewhere, or even just keeping it on YouTube with more sponsors as time marches on.

They've really thought a lot of this stuff through already. This points to good leadership at the top if you ask me. If it fails it won't be due to lack of planning.
 
I think everything is good about the tournament...picture quality, commentary, real-time updates of the brackets on CSI and format. I am a big fan of the shoot off where every shot is difficult with lots of pressure on the players. I can see the players not liking the shoot off format, but it's good for the audience.

Most of all it's FREE !

Predator terrifically generous this year. Almost double prize money for this Arizona event. Winner this event gets $25K double the $12K last year. Sweet for small entry fee of $350.

I have also enjoyed this event and look forward to the future tourneys. Commentators can make or break a match and these guys have done well.
 
I really enjoyed it. As for the shootout, I could go either way with it. If, they are going to keep it, the players better start practicing it more. Although, when they all start making it and the shootout goes too many rounds they will probably drop it.
I enjoyed Tony and Marks commentating the most. Thought they make a great team. I feel that George is a good second table commentator, not a final table guy. The finals commentating felt flat. Gorst was playing for 25k and there just wasn't any build up or excitement in the commentating. It would have been nice to keep the broadcast up just a little longer and have an interview with Fedor. Instead it just ended kind of flat with him standing there looking around and the credits fading in. Show us the big check presentation please.
