What is in your pool kit? Like what do you carry when you just want to go play pool?

Howdy All;

Basic kit that goes in the case is; cue(s), chalk (cube of Masters Green and a Blue one too),
a tip tapper attached to a Willard's Dime size shaper with a 1/8" thick zip-tie. To complete
the set-up either a 1 or 2 slot Q-Claw depending on if I take 1 or 2 cues. Only need 1 cue
for 14.1 & 1-P or tote a break cue for 8 & 9 ball. Just keepin' things simple.

I’ve seen the guns come out once and 2 other nights I missed them by a couple hours. Was the coke dealers in the 80’s. Seen a few fights. 2 times someone got hurt pretty bad-but they lived.
Was hanging out in 89, guy and girl come in about 2 pm and toss a duffel bag under a table and go out the front door. Cops roll in about 3 minutes later, find two fully loaded Mac 10's in the bags along with cash. Only time I've seen automatic weapons in a room.

2 cubes Blue Diamond
Willard Dime
2 Selvyt 10"x10" microfiber cloths (wiping shaft & grip)
1 white cotton bar towel (tip cleaning & burnishing)
mini tape measure

Unless I missed it we went four pages until a tape measure was mentioned. Not even Johnny with his spare dentures carried a tape. I too wondered why. Pocket size affects all players. So what? Two balls fit,or they don't. Being a bucket banger thats all I need to know.

Has the pocket size controversy really made this necessary? One complaint by a arrogant asshole table mechanic when historically straight pool always had big pockets? BFD, get over it. The players didn't complain, everyone shot on the same table.

Some complained the silver dollar was too big, it damaged the cloth. I downsized to the Franklin half dollar, which I lost at Steinway. Now just a silver quarter and two dimes for score keeping.

I carry a Poke type Chip, use it as reminder when playing One Pocket, as that is my pocket.🤪
