Predator Arena Setup

Green cloth for me, please. The grey looks OK, but I'm a traditionalist.

Speaking of wild table colors....did anyone ever play at Pink E's, in Las Vegas? Pink tables everywhere. I never went there, but saw a picture of it once. I believe it burnt down, a few years ago.

Mosconi did an instructional video on that gold cloth. I think it was part of Brunswick's makeover of pool halls into family entertainment centers. I remember playing on it around 1965. Definitely too bright. And I really dislike red chalk.
Bob, I'm sure you remember those pastel apron colors for the early Gold Crowns.
Orange/blue and there was one other color.
I remember playing in the midwest collegiate finals, at the IU bowling alley.
They had orange cloth with colored aprons, no table lights, with bowling ball racks bordering the 9' on the alley side.

I knew Mark Estes, who.... ran the first Pinkies in Colorado Springs and it was I that got em playing allot. He ended up in the Vegas one, and now has his own billiard business. Stand up man, doing business with him is fair, right and honest. He's also raising a young man/son.

Gray is better than blue and green both live and on TV. So why stay with blue or green?
Now you are just being sheep and making shit up. Like needing "tv balls".

Is that grey table Invitational still going on? I sure hope there weren't top heavy payouts so that everyone could afford the nut of flying to London and paying a week and a half hotel. LMAO

Good luck.

Thank you, it is gold cloth! I also dislike red, green or that funny tan colored chalk I used to see on the gold clothed tables. Give me blue Master chalk and I'm happy.

I prefer the blue also, but the tan doesn't discolor your shafts and hands as much.

WTF??? I live in the US and do get out. There are no gray tables within 1000miles of me. Maybe more. I think they suck. Don't care what you like.
No worries, you might have to get used to it if you continue to watch professional pool. It does look better, regardless of what you think. And yes, I think you should get out more.

Mark set up my Pro-Am in Las Vegas. Honest, reliable and a real nice guy.

Been watching a few matches, toooooooooooooooooooooooo quiet for me.
I'm in two minds here. I actually think this format works better without a crowd in terms of the pressure cooker that it puts the players in. But yes, I'd prefer a crowd.

Cloth color doesn't bother me. Purple five balls bother me. Gold, green, blue, gray I don't care. I started playing pool on gold cloth and it was fine.

Don’t knock grey until you played on it …, but the balls have to be traditional. Grey chalk hardly shows up on the cloth.

I was sold the first time I played on it. Blue is traditional and green is even "more traditional" and they are both good, but for my money both "powder blue" and grey are easier on the eye. Who knows, maybe one day in the far flung future snooker might even go ungreen.
