I agree. The internet is unreliable in my area. I don’t prepay for streams. If I come across something that is interesting, and I can actually watch it, then I pay.

You're right, no one is required to contribute.

But people do get tired of the ever-growing flood of "live streamers" who are on the internet begging for money.

Also, I think many of us tend to associate donating to GoFundMe with the intent of supporting actual worthy causes - not feeding John Schmidt's ego.

I would imagine its because taking time attempting this record means he is not working doing his regular job and this helps supplement his income.

Running 126 on 4-1/4” pockets is the difficulty equivalent of running 250-300 on 5” pockets, maybe even more.

Schmidt commented that it took him 11 innings to run 100 on 4-1/4" pockets, but that he had also tried on the Gold Crown, and it took him three innings to run 100. Will be interesting to see if he matches that with tomorrow's run.

The issue I have with it is there is still no method of watching/streaming/renting his previous run... Why should I contribute to the new run, when I have never had a way of seeing the old one.
