It is an on-going event.
But, we took a pause to build out a private room for the Legends table. A GC4 was put in, everything needed to be re-wired along with an over-head camera, and a room for the commentators.

Jayson never looked sharked to me. And if it was phone messages then guess what, put the phone away. If you checking messages in the middle of a run you are sharking yourself. Don’t blame someone else

What Bobby said was that John was texting Jayson all week and that it looked to him that John was trying to shark Jayson and get into his head.

Got it. John was sharking Jason during dinner, not in the middle of the run.
My impression was that it was a relatively constant bombardment of messages the week he was trying to break John's run -- so basically anytime he checked his phone there was something there.

And I just said that John and Jayson seem to be friendly on Facebook. Haven’t heard Jayson whine about John sharking him so maybe others involved shouldn’t whine either. It’s not a good look, constantly whining about John. I think the whole pool community is very impressed with Jaysons play.

I've got a few questions that folks on Facebook chat don't know the answer to, so I'll ask them here.
First, aside from breaking the world record and the great sense of accomplishment, is Jayson getting compensated for this exhibition?
Second, when is that "60 Minutes" show coming on that featured Jayson Shaw at his pool room, filmed earlier this year?

In this case Bobby was shown the texts and heard directly from Jayson how he felt about it, so clearly he can substantiate what he posted.
Now, in a court of law, which somewhat obviously we are not in, there is a different standard.

“60 Minutes” has delayed much of its programming the last few months to cover the war. We’ve heard Jayson’s piece will still air later this year.

As far as 60 Minutes goes, often times they shoot special interest stories as filler time for when nothing is happening in the news or current events. It can sit in the can for a long time and still be relevant as is Jayson’s piece or the Derby as pool stories don’t really expire. So when there’s a war, virus or urgent time sensitive happenings they need to cover the “backup stories” can sit for a long time before they are used to fill air time. Sadly some might never air. It’s hard to say. My guess is they will cover the pool stories as they have in the past-when is anyones guess. That’s the nature of the media biz. I learned about that living in LA all these years. Also they are very low cost to produce so there’s not much pressure on them to use them. Cheap way to fill air time when not much else is happening.
