Lambros M.E.T. cue...

Thicker middle, skinnier bottom .
A single angle .840 to 1.275" butt taper will have a fat bottom section of the handle . But skinny bottom of the forearm.

They are not mainstream because a lot of makers have not done enough testing with their cues .
And that it's much easier to make a single angle taper bar or just offset the tailstock when tapering than making a taper bar with two or more angles .
Have any dual taper cues been put out for sale by anyone?

How about playability? What’s the purpose
Trade secret.
But, Mike has the right findings . Really. Seriously.
The forearm has a different function from the handle .
But, millions here argue butts don't matter .

Say hello to Mike . I've worked on his shafts a few times . Flat lam and conventional.
Good shafts . They've stayed straight even after some abuse by the owner here .

I have his old butt taper specs here somewhere. Pretty close to a Scruggs iirc .
I'm glad he's switching to dual angle .

I will. Supposed to go to his shop the end of September

So, he just discovered dual taper butts?
I'm actually shocked.
Few makers have been doing that for decades.
Tad, Zylr, me, Tonkin, BHQ, Searing and even old Schon cues.
I don’t think that is any kind of conclusion. He has several things designed into this cue, but nothing says that he just discovers dual taper butts.

I’ll give Lambros the benefit of any doubt. I don’t know too many cuemakers who have put as much engineering study into a cue as he has.

Mike Lambros is in unique position, sells everything he builds, and has no dealers.

So he is not having to do the wholesale thing.

Really? How do you know?
A dealer just made the video.
Overseas dealers pay US retail price so long as they get inventory.

And your drivel has nothing to do with the subject.

Go build Cues numbbo, customers waiting.

Like I said Lambros’s are not like find a McDermott, Mike use to have a dealer, has been years since deal had Lambros for sale.

Don’t get the new design, or reason for creating, when man is already booked with work.

I get it Joey your in Cali, air kill brain cells.

Mike Lambros Cue haves great following but the reason this new design does what it does is the person doing demo. Has skill, and great stroke.

Again it is Indian v/s Arrow. Seen people do the same thing with any number of Cue, because they have skill.

Case tested.

But then again you haven’t tested the new design so you don’t really know how much it could help a player out.
