US Open 9B October, 2022 -- Atlantic City

did Shane see the pending foul and let it go? the announcers caught it immediately
And he should NEVER stop his opponent from committing that foul. Some people on facebook are saying they have lost all respect because of his poor sportsmanship. I see it completely different. Do you think Joey thinks it was poor sportsmanship on Shane's part? I doubt it.

SVB alerting Joey that he was shooting the wrong ball would have been a great gesture of sportsmanship, particularly given the score and overall competitiveness of the match. That said, there is absolutely nothing unsportsmanlike or wrong about him staying silent and watching Joey foul. Any criticism directed at him over that is unwarranted. My guess is the guy on FB who said he lost all respect for SVB probably didn’t have much of it to begin with and is just looking for excuses to bash him.

At this point, seeing what's kinda happening, I like Shaw to win it. When he starts rollin', no ONE, has his Simplicity of ball pocketing. Fat Boy, pick Shaw to win it from here, get odds.

Brandon Gordon has a nice stroke - certainly stronger looking than the 554 rating for the only Brandon Gordon on the Fargo web site.

Overall, not many surprises in the winner's bracket so far. Greg Hogue is a 697 but he beat two lower rated players to get to round 3. Mhet Vergara is 716 and took down Labutis 9-8. Otherwise it's pretty much all boldfaced names.
