It is not my intent with this thread to belittle any player, Shaw is a quality player and seems to be a genuine dude. I will not mention the legends of no official pockets anymas - except to say I find it ironic that the people from bca that informed chamberlain he had to invite the top 10 WPA players first - are also the same people that will not give a ruling for an official pocket spec.

This thread is not related to the legends event - so I am not hear to talk about that as they were not the ones that stole Mosconi's true World Record. However I do find it ironic that I warned bobby on the phone that it might be difficult to work with the bca, now he can see that I was right. So the irony is actually kiny cool - chamberlains higher ups told him he had to invite top ten wpa players first - he followed along - now he see's that I was right about the bca productions. A company/special interest group that will help to try and erase an almost 70 yr Sports History Record - and not allow Open Public to independently verify the claim - would also not be willing to offer an official pocket size to determine a standard.

Are you saying that bobby did not have to invite the top ten WPA players BEFORE inviting anyone else of his choosing? Again Lou I am really not interested in ya'lls event as there is no official pocket specs that the bca has released - but I can talk about 14.1 - even if it - is not "official". I take no hallucinogenics - not sure what the sheet' u'r typing about. facebook pocket billiard wreckords are covered in scratches - needle just jumps all over the place - like a broken record. I do hope though that the bca will work with ya'll some day. May be hard to believe but I really no think bout all the corruption that has surrounded itself around Mosconi's true Record when I am practicing, I can just block all the phony theatrical and facebook record keepers out - and play.

Bobby does not answer to anyone for this event and is doing his own thing, with his own dough.

If anyone gets in -- or does not get in -- it's his call in consultation with his committee.

We got *nothing* from the BCA on pocket specs AND they ended up certifying Shaw's run as an official record.

higher ups. a guy setting up an event pertaining to the most niche aspect of a niche game, in a rather niche sport. do you really think he has "higher ups"?

the special interest group exists however. i heard they meet in a castle, burn images of willie mosconi, and after the goat blood rituals they take the straight pool high run erasure oath. jeff bezos usually presides.
