Practice practice practice

Ah the cold finger. Gold Finger.
Right was offended and take a 2-11 lead in the Chase. The bitch slap slow Kiss BSSK woke the Right.
Gould finally got Ronnie through masterful play using the Snooker Glasses. Maybe if I turn mine upside down? Gotta go experiment 🧪.

Well I found Prop Eyes and ordered some. In the meantime I made a similar tool from an old cereal box. Channel my inner Earl.😉

It works!

using the camera with a 10 second timer to execute the Moe Norman slow kiss. The 10 second countdown is good practice for me😁. Plus the evidence to examine and make adjustments. Learned from Mark Willson. Guess I should get a hold of marketing on the camera holder.😉

Top 16 make all the money in snooker, the rest struggle.
Sounds like pool.
Well same problem but the income available is microscopic in pool compared to snooker. I found the conversation interesting and well very interesting.😉 The insight made available is good stuff. I would discourage quiting the Day Job. As number 17 in snooker took on a second job.🤷
So pool makes for a good hobby. Funny hearing Ronnie claim Hobby as his class.
Mine has always been hobby and pays slightly better than gold prospecting.(.50 cents/hr). Hobby class $5 tournament pays $60 for 9 hour investment of time with $40 nut. At least it's good practice. Hobby level Race to 3 and 2. Should be my wheel house. It takes motivation though. Giving lessons is what I call it.😉

Seriously 😉
greg, Howdy;

I just adjust the nose pads inwards a mm or 1.5mm each to achieve the same result.

Good morning 👍. I am having good results with my kick stand version of the prop Eyes. I can get a ratchet effect and just lay the jack over the nose. Like a sunburn protector.🤷
I hope the prop Eyes can be used the same way. Of course I expect to get another pair of glasses without the bifocals.

Analysis time: the picture is after contact. Why isn't the cue directly over the ball? Hmmm better go tinker. Hopefully I won't break it and well at least be able to put it back like it was before I tried to fix it. (The manly man Creed)?

Side track: Study Martial Arts. The Cue stick is my weapon of choice in situations of martial law. No really. What was that movie?? I will take stick from you and you won't like what I do with it!(sounds more adult than 'shove it up your ass")

The movie In Too Deep has a version of that😉
Don't mess with God

Just found this Gary Player advice to a young player.
"Pick out one dimple on the golf ball," he said. "Watch the blade hit that dimple, and only then, look up. You'll remember that?"
Fits with the precision I try to bring to striking the cue ball.🤷

Kind of divided now that the Experiment thread has risen. Oh well
My latest experiment has produced positive results. The kick stand for the glasses works well. Will be getting mods for convenience and improvement in ease of use. The ultimate would be motorized and raise and lower by remote. Might as well incorporated into the hat. Hmmmmmm

My take on the experiment thread is well, it's interesting. Different martial artists need to respect the skills of other domains.
I can only speak to what works well for me. I can speak to my experience and my conclusions. Perhaps provide credits if needed 🤷. Or perhaps my observations should carry a little weight. I did study Yogi pretty hard via The Bookmobile that came around to our Little House on the Prairie 2 room school.
My Observations: Watching on Matchroom giving me enough data to draw conclusions. I would advise to look at the place you are striking. The cue is the tool. I swung enough hammer to know that looking at what I am hitting is the only way to be a pro.🤷 I never got as good as the one stroke framers. But I can drive a nail. I try to bring the nail driving precision to the cue ball. Mark Wilson speaking in microns.
The watching the tip interaction with the cue ball is so basic. I would advise all new players to learn to control that interaction first.
Only one ball for a month
......hmmmm

My study in precision (advanced practice... don't try this without... well ⚠️). The Moe Norman kick is what I shall call it.😉 The amplifier of the long bridge is enlightening.
