I think he has or is working on his Green Card (permanent resident). For citizenship:

As far as participation in international events goes, I think as soon as he has his green card he can travel internationally. I think until he has US citizenship, he will be considered European.

Correct. He is waiting on his green card. It's a big headache to leave the US while your application is pending:

Fedor said somewhere that he would have gone through the hoops to travel but that he is banned from play in Poland anyway.

It's an interesting question (to me at least) if countries can still prohibit him from work once he is a green card holder (not a citizen but permanent legal resident with various protections from the US government).

Too bad my long-time friend Greg 'Spanky' Hogue couldn't make it. He applied for accelerated Visa but the backlog got him so he's staying home.

This just in from Matchroom on how to watch....

I think you mean "passport". US citizens don't need a visa for travel to Poland for stays under 90 days.

...
I just checked matchroom.live (from the US) and it seems that tables 2 and 3 will be there starting the 1st. At 3 in the morning.:sleep: I pay $2 per month for matchroom.live which has pool, snooker, darts and some other stuff.

I hope that defending champion SVB will be well-rested after his nice workout in Southern Indiana. ;)

Surprised to see Nick Van den berg in the mix , tot he retired.
Looks like Pia is only female player
Big names should cruise thru easily- win 2 matches straight and they are through to last 64

Prizemoney

Payout to top 96 players which is 75% of the field

Any of the 23 players in this Fargorate list below
My crystal ball has another clue- the winner has a vowel in his name

I have always paid to use DAZN her in USA because I thought that is what I had to watch it on. So I can download the Matchroom live app and pay and watch it on their app instead?

Does DAZN or MR offer more than what SkySports is going to stream?
Just curious because I already have Sky.

Big KO vs. Aranas is a tough draw in a first round for both of them.
Other than that...maybe Esposito could be in for an upset against Albin, but I think most of the seeded players will go through first round pretty smoothly.

DAZN might be the full production “table 1” broadcast. The two YouTube options are probably the secondary tables with limited production.

The MR subscription I think sometimes it mirrors the DAZN, but I think not always. (I don’t have that one, just going by what I read here, I do have DAZN).

Day 1 Kick off (I mean Break off ) about 14 hrs from now.
Good to see Matchroom up their game now offering 3 streams (including 2 free streams). I think it was only 2 stream last year. They have long way to go to catch up with the pool's gold standard in streaming, Kozoom who have for years been offering streams on almost all tables for events they cover.
