It is at least possible that your posts disappeared because they were replies to posts that were deleted by the moderators.

I don't agree that the moderators need explain by PM why each post removed has been deleted, but if you need to know why one or more of your posts was deleted, you can always PM the moderator.

Always the voice of reason. I realize being a moderator is a thankless job and you sir are right I can pm them.

I am not familiar with the software this site runs off of but automatic deletion of "orphan" posts when the thread starter or post that the orphan was a reply to is deleted is often automatic.

The mod's have to do a lot of reading and work we don't see so often detailed explanations are a burden. One isn't a big deal, one to everyone who gets a post deleted might be. When people asked me why their post was deleted on sites I had Admin or Mod powers my reply was often only three letters, ROE. Violate the rules of engagement and expect posts to be deleted. Incidentally, if I am not mistaken this entire thread is a violation of the rules on this site. Might be some more orphans soon!(grin)

This site is laid out almost exactly like another site I frequent. On that site, just make a common that casts Joe B or any liberal democrat in a bad light and your post will never be seen again. However, post something bad about Trump or conservatives and your post will be 5 star rated. Makes no sense.

Unfortunately that's the way the world is going. The days of respectable discussions died about the same time as unbiased news reporting.
