Dr. Dave, you probably should have given up on a few of these clowns long ago. I appreciate your perseverance. I have read this entire thread, and have no problem with your conclusions. I didn't really care that much, until I decided to try it myself. I am a little surprised right now. My break cue is still the first one I bought. It's a log. 14 mm lexan bullet proof tip. I rarely use it. I just spent a half hour comparing it to my player, and another cue I have. Draws the ball back just as well.

Thank you. Once I realized "mob" members are more interested in trying to insult and put others down rather than discussing or commenting on things in a mature, civil, and productive way, I knew it was time to move on.

I think it is even easier with the newer "hybrid" phenolic tips, which seem to hold chalk a little better.

You've got to be kidding. I suggest you take count of the number of posters in this thread who have dared question your conclusions, methods, and much less your authority. On top of that, count how many of us started with a polite, even deferential tone.

And then, count the number of times each of these posters who dared question your highness has been insulted (myth believers), intimidated, told they are drinking koolaid, telling old wives tales (OWT), "spouting off" (in your own words), and on and on...

You are the mob leader, if anything, Doctor Dave. Your behavior is hardly becoming of a scientist.
