Is the 3 Cushion game picking up like the pool game is?

Come on bro you already said that.
Use your imagination, call me a doo doo head atleast for pointing out how much you don't know about caroms
There is nothing to develop on the matter of your incessant ribbing. Anyway self proclaimed billiard expert derails thread on the growth of billiards, future of the sport now uncertain.

Post something about the break shot. You lost this interchange when you started it.

More meaningless word salad
I just informed the uninformed

Beginner guy will likely have an easier time with the dead canon from across the table than pocketing a ball from across the table. Simple margins of error. No contrived parameters.
You've continued to cherry pick examples of caroms that might be easier than pocketing.

In a whole sense, the two have to be about the same difficulty level though, no?

Would be a long ass tournament

You think so? The 14.1 players on one side and the 3C players on the other? Both dressed well and spectators have two options all the time. Does 3Cushion USA still run that tournament out in Arizona? I always enjoyed that pro and amateur contest.

I only cited one example - a dead billiard. Two balls close together that only require being hit. To illustrate the point I chose shooting the cue ball directly into a pocket as a pool equivalent. The issue is degree of required precision and entry level billiards requires far less.

Lets expand the proportions of the shot from two balls perpendicular to the shot line to the balls in a triangle with the apex ball as the scoring ball cornered as big as possible. The shooter may only need to shoot a half ball hit to end up scoring on the big ball.
A pool shot with the same approximate proportions, that is, a foot or two shot straight in or not, will require far greater precision to complete successfully.

I think it also safe to assume the billiard could be shot successfully more times than the pool shot. You could lay out dozens more shots utilizing just the big ball principle that would have the same degree of success to a noob as a hanging object ball in pool, which was my only point anyway.

Too many words.

Each example of one being easier than the other can be countered by its perfect opposite.

The only thing that is clear and undeniable is that 3c is the best of all cuesports.

I like it and it might be the purest cue sport but the value in any manner of billiards is the dynamics are fundamental to pool. I practice all manner of billiards on the pool tables I have access to and my take on that besides the strengthening of my fundamentals is that hit or missed, most billiard shots are amply good enough for cue ball control in pool.

Hope everyone's hungry,
Got word salad for days over here
