How do these diamond tables play so badly? vid

Quote;

Funny, we didn't have any complaints at the event and I even played some
Our stream ran all week and not one mention of table banking tight

I can't see his video but it's Weiblehause and he is a full on dick head

Don't want to say much on bad boys but I did see them likely lose a few customers with some basic questions... sadly they didn't realize. I do hope they survive and do well in future

RKC I know my video is not well done and hard to see but can you try to explain why my Red label plays on system? When I play 3 rails to opposite corner pocket I am at the 1st diamond past the side pocket not the 2nd like most tables.
in my experience you never get that on a pool table ....(aim at 3 (1 diamond past side pocket)to go 3 rails to the corner) billiard table yes or on brand new cloth only
what english do you use?

In order to answer your question, I need to ask you a few questions first, so that's why I gave you my phone number. 702-927-5689

So this thread doesn't end on such a weird note... I do love diamond tables. I would buy a 9 footer myself. But I think it is a little shocking if the 7ft table plays this short off the rail, only because of high humidity in the room and otherwise normal conditions.

It’s not just high humidity. It’s pretty much every substance that comes in contact with the balls ends up on the cushion contact point. Humidity just happens to be the leading factor. By either cleaning the surface or rubbing a neutralizing solution on either the balls or the cushion nose, and having significant change just confirms the issue is friction at the nose contact point. You guys are way over thinking this. FWIW considering all the travels, storage and heavy use these tables go through that kick looked good to me. If all the tables play the same then that’s great as well. I think you did put 1 mm or so RH spin, whether you realized or not.

Last comment for me. Just my experience, it's not right or wrong. I've played somewhat high level 8 ball and bar table pool for 10+ years. And these were very unusual table conditions. Out of the hundreds of bar table tournaments I've played, these were the most challenging I've experienced because the rails were so fast and the angles were so short off the rails, even at slow speeds. I started safety breaking because I wasn't confident of my cue ball. I've also played in rooms with high humidity as well as dry. Shrug

I understand. It’s like the difference of going from driving a clunker car with half a turn steering wheel play to driving a Ferrari that jerks your head out of socket if you just sneeze while driving. Those Diamonds with sticky cushions are great though. Just drive with caution!

In my opinion Diamond has ruined the pool industry with these tables. Everyone always talking about how great they are. Ever sit and watch people play on them? It’s like putting. Small strokes and slow rolling. Trying to control the cue ball or better yet keep it off the rails. I never get much enjoyment out of playing on them. But, hey they are great! NOT!

Preach! They’re the next coming of whoever someone’s deity of choice might be, but I can’t stand em.

What most people hate about Diamond tables is ………..waiting for it when buying for a home table. I hate the that the pockets are pretty much equal size to each other. Hate that the PRC is bullet proof. Can’t stand the 1 piece slate stays flat. No seams. The corner pockets that hold 10-11 balls is joke for one pocket players. Balls should be bouncing out but don’t. Table’s absolutely suck
