How do these diamond tables play so badly? vid

I just saw on FB from Mark G he was hired by Brunswick to work with their engineers to help on the GC7.

Hey Glen, I thought Brunswick was gone? As in zero staff? As in zero technical knowledge? As in zero marketing department? As in zero know anything about pool tables? Isn't that what you've said this thread? Better get on the horn to your good buddy and set him straight that the people he will be working with are ghosts;)
Do you actually think Mark and I don't talk to each other all the time?😅🤣😂

I am curious do you think Brunswick had this many complaints in its heyday? I seriously doubt it. Here we are in the heyday of diamond and 32 pages later everyone still arguing over this table. So is it better? Absolutely not.

If you want to bring that up, then go all the way! In the BRUNSWICK HEYDAY, all events were played on either Stevens 22oz Superweave or Brunsco1 WOVEN WOOLEN CLOTH!!! Players had to have a stroke, NO PITY PAT POOL, LIKE TODAY!!!

What a joke!!!

Ignorance is still a blessing, even with today's crybabies!

Why is it that only YOU AMATEURS complain about DIAMOND tables?

I played on 4 1/4" Diamonds at DCC for the first time ever earlier this year, and they were eating my lunch at first. Grew into being able to play somewhat competently on them by the end of the week, and when I found out they had some here in Germany, I hopped on it most rikky tik.

Got one in my game room now, and I can see how the table is improving my game with every hour practicing on it. Absolutely no complaints from this player. In fact, I made the first three banks I played on it, in fact, after playing on nothing but Gold Crowns since Derby. Played two 2-railers on it just goofing around, barely aimed the first one, missed by around half a diamond, made the second one.

What choice do they have?
You seem to have forgotten all about the 1,000's of GC3's produced and sold by Brunswick all over the country that the cushions turned rock hard and ALL of them had to be replaced, and all Brunswick did was offer a free replacement set, of the SAME cushions!!! How did THOSE BRUNSWICKS PLAY??

What choice did THOSE customers have???

That was a defect when Brunswick switched suppliers, and we all know that. We are comparing non-defective GC's to non-defective Diamonds. None of the Diamonds are defective.

Because the Pro’s don’t come in here. For good reason. But, they complain. Trust me they do. Just not in here. They go straight to the top.
I've questioned several pros through email or messenger from the US and Europe about table recommendations. They all recommend Diamond or Rasson, saying you can't go wrong with either and play is quite similar. This even from one's that are sponsored by Rasson or have European brand tables.
