I recently posted on someone's for sale ad and then took the conversation to PM, and eventually text. After everything was worked out and payment made, the seller promptly created a UPS label, sent me a picture of it, and then dropped it off to be shipped. Great transaction, no issues.
Then the next day I get an email (I never gave my email to the seller) seemingly responding to my comment and offering the item for a lower price than what we had already agreed upon. Obviously, the email is from a scammer and not the actual seller, but just wanted to put it out there to everyone to be vigilant and look out for things like this.
