Best hitting cue you ever played with.

ive had or hit hundreds of custom cues in my life. i bought all the good ones and got rid of the ones that werent suited for me.

now i have a big rack of the good hitting ones ive kept.

one is a billy stroud cue he made for especially me and one is a bushka george made for me. and the buska is the best hitting cue ive ever used by far.

and my bar cue is an old national made by palmer i think. with a bill stroud shaft i put on it and its been totally in my car for 50 years thru minus 30 degrees to over 110 in the sun and still hits great and is dead straight.

quality lasts.

1) Custom to spec Tsunami by Neil Galindo cue butt, with 314_3 shaft, with medium victory tip on kamui 0.98 chalk.

2)Predator Roadline LE4 with 314_3 shaft and kamui SS (old one) tip.

This is a nonsense question, even the height of the table can influence you...the humidity on the place can do the same...

I can't believe I'm writing this. A dozen nice cues locked in a cabinet and I am seriously liking this Mcdermott HD-42. Yeah that's right, a Harley Davidson model. G Core shaft too. I'm playing the best ever. Being locked in the basement with a GC IV and Covid might have had something to do with it. Healthy now, it's a modern Sneaky Pete. Almost as good as a Budweiser cue.
Does it rumble?

Meucci 88-1 with Mezz' WX Sigma and modified EX Pro. 19,0 oz, slighty back balanced and perfect feel to me. Very neutral performance and lively feedback.

It's a toss up between my Scott Erwin custom and my Mike Gulyassy cue I must be honest and say I've been playing with my Gulyassy cue more than the one Scott made because it was a friend of mine main cue so I only bring it out on rare occasions .

My predator SP is a pleasure to shoot with as well .

Ok, here are the rules. Hit is subjective, we all know that. But let's try anyway to compile a list of cues that we think are GREAT playing cues.

The only rule is one vote per person. So think about it and pick the one cue out of all the cues you have been able to shoot with that you would keep if you could only have one of them for the rest of your life.

Now of course you can put in a name of a cue you have never shot with just because you desire to own it and have heard it's a great playing cue but I hope that you will stick with cues that you actually had time to hit balls with for enough time to really get to know the cue.

I will start, and this is a very tough decision for me because I have owned so many great cues. Keep in mind that just because a brand is someone's #1 choice the number 2 might be real close.

But the object here is to see what sort of list we can come up with if you can only have one. I will update this post with a running list and vote count if it gets any traction. Sometime in the future I will tally the votes by brand even though there may be different "eras" and butt/shaft combinations.

My #1 pick is Jensen.

I love my revo p3, don't get the hate of predators hit.
Sure they're well made.
The hate probably comes from the branding, and nonsense tech talk...
Can't stand Predator, or their inflated price tags for 'good' quality, production line product - But I also won't pretend that the AirRush isn't the best jumper you can buy...

As for best 'hit' - my Vigas paired with a Musashi VI shaft hits pretty F sweet.

Rich Chudy "Traditional" cue. I have three shafts for it but one shaft in particular has an incredible hit. I don't know why it is so different than the others.

That is good to hear. I played my REVO for 4 months straight,...... could never really warm-up to it. I have an old joint Mezz that seems nice. I never spend too much time w/it though.
