Gotta be honest i have no clue what this means nor do i give a flying fk. I don't post in search of any ratings. None. Zero. That’s lower than justnum’s score.
Just kidding.

Messages 198, reaction 222. 112%.This is an interesting stat to me, as it indicates how much other forum members value your posts here, on average. The data is on your profile page.
Mine is currently 799 Messages and 600 Reaction Score, for a percentage of 75%.
As a point of comparison, justnum is at 18,123 messages and 1,986 reaction score, for a percentage of 11%.
I’m sure there are members higher than 75% - can anyone find them?
Eventually you'll figure out why his is so high - probably most of it from one ongoing thread... with picturesMy sample size is small and as I post more my reaction score will go down.
To post over 31 thousand times and have a reaction score the exceeds your post must mean your post are excellent!
Clearly it counts angry faces if numb has that many reactionsThis is an interesting stat to me, as it indicates how much other forum members value your posts here, on average. The data is on your profile page.

Trying to run up your count I seeIf you want a high ratio, post jokes in the joke thread and controversial stuff in NPR. Don't bother with actual pool stuff.
And you're barely over 50% - clearly a flawed system. I figured you'd be 500% or higherWow, it has been about ten years that anyone suggested that reaction score is even relevant to who the best posters are on our forum. Reaction score is, at best, nearly meaningless and is probably completely meaningless.
Jay Helfert, who gets my vote for the best poster on this forum, is under 30%. Bob Jewett, another superstar in these AZB parts, is under 50%. Case closed.
And as much as I hate to say it, JAM should be high tooEven though my "reaction score" is "high," I've never thought of it in terms of an indicator of "best" anything. I think it measures something...I just don't know what that would be. Could be a traffic driving indicator, a Chinese social credit score...who knows? I would say that Jay and Bob are certainly worthy contenders for the title.

Clearly, I get way more positive reactions than shown by this system, it must mean something elseWhat more is there to understand? We’re just dividing the number of Likes, Loves, and Ha Ha’s you’ve received on comments or posts by the total number of comments and posts you’ve made, which gives a % score that indicates how well-received your content was, on average.
Although if long-term members are at a disadvantage due to there not being a response feature at one time in the forum’s history, while their total post count is still counting prior to that new feature, then it’s pretty meaningless for anyone here prior to that date.
That’s lower than justnum’s score.
Just kidding.

Messages / Reaction Score = Reaction Percentage
3,771 / 2257 = 167%
It's math, but it's not interesting or conclusive math.
An evaluation of a Poster's content would be subjective. If a Poster is posting quality content regarding a subject the Reader is interested in, that Poster is likely appreciated by that Reader and receives a reaction score. More importantly, the Reader likely perceives the Poster is someone whose posts they would likely be more inclined to read.
There is a lot of quality content on pool, but there is also the Funny Pic/GIF thread as well as the whole NPR forum. Again, evaluating the quality of the content posted is subjective and varies from forum member to forum member.
Realizing that I just took this much time to respond to your question, I decided I should go back and give you a thumbs up to improve your reaction score.

I was told there would be no math…
Messages = 2,257
Reaction Score = 3,771
Messages / Reaction Score = Reaction Percentage
3,771 / 2257 = 167%

I can give some strong advice to not have your Reaction Score go low.
Do NOT, EVER, NEVER tout something that starts with the 3rd letter of the alphabet...the 20th letter of the alphabet...
and the 5th letter of the alphabet. This place goes absolutely wacko-bonkers when it happens. I even have to lay this
message out in such a way that it doesn't cause a rabid, out of mind reaction if those letters were combined together in
their real form.![]()
