To give them a fair chance in sports where men have natural physical advantages.

I think this is the wrong path in the argument.
I'm absolutely sure there are women that have the physical and mental ability to compete in cue sports if they applied themselves to achieve excellence at these games. Zero Doubt!
Problem is, there's too few women attracted to these games, compared to the numbers of men.
The argument isn't about a weaker sex. It's about fewer numbers of women involved.
Don't just think about the current Women Champions. Think at your local level. At your room.
How many women do you see with their own cue walk in to play and practice for hours compared to the men?
I guess the game simply isn't attractive to enough women to raise the level of play, and that's the problem.
If there were the same number of women playing as men, I'd guess we would see no skill difference between men and women, and our current champions would likely raise their game to meet that challenge.
How many times has your level of play risen or fallen because of the quality of competition you're facing?
